Personally I enjoyed Siege's free Outbreak event from a few years ago much more, it had more interesting cinematics that were even of higher quality, the maps had more detail, etc, but this all comes down to personal opinion.
i personally enjoy playing this game. i have unlocked every operator and every map and surprisingly, playing the maps again and again (for challenges) makes a lot of fun (i play solo btw). the grind (leveling up the operators) is also surprisingly entertaining, and we are speaking of an ubisoft game.
on my machine, the game runs very smooth and i didn´t encounter any bugs until now. the servers are also working without any problems (EU).
the enemys ai works pretty fine. there are also some interesting boss encounters, where you have to play with special tactics. the gunplay is like siege and works pretty fine. some weapons have special attachements, which their counterparts in siege don´t have. for example a suppressor and 1,5 sight for the BOSG (it still has the acog too). speaking of suppressors: they are very usefull in this game, because there are some objectives where you have to play stealthy, especially if you are playing on the two higher difficulties (there are 4 difficulty settings)
i preordered the deluxe editiotion but i recommend the standard version of this game.
also very surprising for this game: you get a lot of nice looking skins (guns, charms, uniforms and headgear) for free, by leveling up operators or doing challenges (in an ubisoft game). all gun skins are universial, which is very nice.
differences between standard and deluxe edition: exclusive cosmetics you don´t really need.
-----
conclusion: it´s a nice game which makes a lot of fun, even solo. i reccomend to buy it on a sale (standard edition) or to test it out in one of the gamepasses.
It's ok to think a product is bad.
But to think a product is bad because it changed is ignorant
Who decides what Rainbox Six is? The people developing and evolving it ...
Extraction is not a Tom Clancy, or the Rainbow Six title. Just call it Extraction as a spin off Siege and it'd work.
hello,
even if ubisoft would start to cooperate with steam again, you still need the ubisoft connect launcher. so if you don´t want to mess with launchers, the best way is still to buy it directly at ubisoft connect or at their website
