Zofia vs Maverick

I'm getting a new attack op and i don't know if I should choose Maverick or Zofia since I've heard both are pretty good. Which one should I pick and why?

They are both good for solo playing. Zofia is an entry fragger, whereas maverick is a slow push.
Both have great guns, and a good gadget.

I personally prefer zofia.

Personally, I would choose Zofia. Both of her guns are extremely solid, and like Gigan said, she's an entry fragger and a GOOD one too. I like Maverick but for some reason I find myself not picking him much at all. It's about preference and how you like to play. If you like going on the offensive and getting frags (kills) go with Zofia. Mav can kind of do the same thing, but with him it's best to be a little bit more slow and methodical.

I'll say this though, one of the best things about Mav is the fact you can capitalize on the commotion if you have a few teammates putting pressure on OBJ. Use his gadget to pop a few small holes to get a line of sight into site, and let the bullets fly. That's why it's best to hang back a bit with him so you can catch the enemy team by surprise!

Hence he's a slow pusher, using your teammate as a distraction is the best way to clear out the objective, and then silently enter and potentially get the plant down.

That's how i used to use Hibana, and i'm still using her that way: just open big f...ing peekhole but for some reason players seems to not understand that tactic on Hibana and they always expect me to open a door in a wall with her gadget. Well, Hibana herself using kairos says "let's peek inside" (or something along those lines).

Zofia is a really good entry fragger, and Maverick is kind of situational depending on what map you're on, and how many people are roaming, and things like that. I find myself opening holes as maverick and just getting killed by a cav who's on her way back from a rotation or roaming most of the time and Zofia has two different uses for her gadget and arguably better guns, so I'd go with her.

Maverick also has good guns and he has stun/flash nades. He isnt as versatile as zophia but he's still good to use. He was for a time, OP with his torch but its not as unbalanced as it used to be.

Zofia is good in all team comps, mav is especially strong on maps with many reinforcements or areas and you dont want to bring a thatcher/thermite combo

kinda main both. zofia is a great all round op with decent guns and very useful gadget. maverick is a operator that has good guns and a good gadget but is a very risky gadget. if you are somewhat new to the game i recommend zofia since she is easier to use, but if u are more experienced especially in map knowledge i recommend mav

I like Maverick because I do a thing called swiss cheesing and I just make a bunch of holes and only peek through one so they don't know which one I'm looking through. Works like a charm.

thats how you get yourself killed, from other holes

I somehow find myself doing better at entry fragging with mav than zof lately, but mav is perfect for getting sneaky, unexpected kills from weird angles.

Well that's also a down side to doing that, but many times it works
