Rainbow on pc - download size 46 GB???

I jsut saw on my laptop that this game requires 46 GB of space to download. Have our cries for help been answered? Also does this mean I need to uninstall and reinstall for this download size to work? Thanks for reading y'all!

The download sizes are dynamic, Ubisoft compresses the files all the time trying to bring down the size, sometimes you'll have a large game update which will recycle and replace existing game files with compressed files during the download phase.

Ideally they intend to keep the game size below 50GB without the HD texture pack and below 80GB otherwise (it's currently 70GB with the HD texture pack).

If you already have the game installed on your laptop then it will update accordingly before you can play anyway, so uninstalling and reinstalling is redundant.
