why do people use them u get nothing if u use it example shotgun u look at ur crossair not at the tiny red point it will just get u killed when holding angels

Do laser sights even have any use? I remember trying to use shield and a handgun with laser sight... well... things ended horribly.

It's supposed to increase hip-fire accuracy, but I haven't seen a change.

on shotguns it decreases the spread so your shots are more accurate, on normal Weapons its decreases hip fire range.

It's only ever useful for shotguns that have huge spread like the SASG-12 and ACS-12. But it's still viable for even other shotguns and few high ROF guns that you can just hipfire like rambo.

The smartest use of fookin laser sights are couple of Blackbeard mains use the laser sight to bait out enemies to peek him for picking them off. Nobody would ever bother using them on roamers since it just gives away your position. It's just preference, but majority of the time hardly anyone wants to have better hipfire for the sake of giving away your hiding spot.

Useful on shotguns.

It’s also useful on rush ops (like ash) so if you run around a corner you’re able to hipfire while you ads in case a defenders in a weird spot.

It’s also useful on pistols for shield ops so you can hipfire better.

And I personally use it on Kaid and nomads pistol so I can have a back up gun up close without needing to get in acog

Always nice to pair it up with ACOG when you have a panic attack at close range. Never know when a Caveira sneaks up and you have to pull off a flick.

Yup exactly! I don't really like shotguns in video games, so I haven't messed with shotguns in Siege much, but several others have mentioned using them on shotguns as well.

Shields and shotguns are the main ones that actually benefit from it, the resr ends up being personal taste like supressor, which if not used smartly will screw you over
