Ela buff idea
I used to be a pre-nerf ela main and still play her very often

Ela is meant to be a operator who can take on many enemies in CQB

My idea is only to buff the Scorpion damage up a little bit because I feel like even in a CQB, she's still having a hard time taking down an enemy as a result of her recoil

Her recoil doesn't need to be buff as I think it is pretty balance for a CQB operator with 40 + 1 bullets in a single magazine

Have you ever tried P90? It has similar damage, more bullets and better recoil. ELA smg needs recoil buff desperately.

I think a recoil buff is fine but not too much because when you are considering her gadget and operator speed, she would be too much to deal with like back in Year 2

They nerfed the less used gun that was not OP because this game has always been Automatics>>>shotguns and their own data proves it

I don't personally use the shotgun but I don't think nerfing shotgun isn't a right direction for dev team as people using shotgun a lot is a result from the Scorpion nerf and nerfing the shotgun makes her primary even worse.

I would be ok with even a slight damage decrease if the side to side recoil were fixed. The scorpion is almost as hard to aim as the smg12 which seems unbalanced for a primary

Ubi definetly got the wires crossed if htey thought that shotgun was popular due being strong vs her other weapon just being nerfed.
