Does anyone experience your Discord app disconnecting when you are playing Rainbow 6?

I'm connected to Singapore server.

Discord is not bad at all. It's also free so it doesn't hurt. Voice quality is on par or even better than TS on some tests.

Teamspeak master race<3 i barely find peaple using discord.

I have Fios internet, and this is the only game I have this issue with..
I am connected to a USeast server with a ping under 10ms

I'm connected to Singapore server.

If it's during the initial startup of rainbow 6 then it's normal for a quick disconnect from all internet based applications or browsers. Its a ubisoft thing.
If during the actual game then idk

I've been talking to discord and they say it's a common problem. And only happens with R6S.

Oh do they have any solutions? Glad you even got into contact with Discord.

Yeah they have yet to solve the problem for me but these are the fixes they suggested:
Are you running Discord with admin priorities when you play R6S?
How do I enable push-to-talk if I am running my game in administrator mode?
Also, will this happen if you use the web app to talk while playing R6S? discordapp.com/login
Is your PC completely up to date?
ask the server to change the server region and if that still doesn't help, try using beta: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.discord

They recognise it as a problem that only seems to happen with R6S too

Thanks for sharing. I tried running it on Admin Mode before but it's the same. I don't use the web app and I don't use push-to-talk.

But the problem is slightly lesser now.

It worked fine for no apparent reason earlier and then broke again tonight, i don't get it. I'm on EU West.

Someone over at Reddit posted a potential solution but I am highly doubtful.

"I finally figured how to fix this! I noticed that Rainbow 6 has a really high CPU usage and it kinda forces discord to use less. I am using a i5-4670K and even overclocked it to 4,2GHz but it still did nothing so I think the game is just not optimized for a good CPU usage. You just have to turn on v-sync (2 Frames). This should do the trick, atleast it did for me."
