is a 1.55kd good ?

title , ive just been turnt down from a new team due to a "low kd" im plat 2 and have a 1.55kd , i just asking if the player base seems to think it is and i shall change my play style

depends on ur rank kd doesnt say anything winrate does
even with a 0.01 kd and a winrate of 2 ur better than someone with a 5 kd and a 0.5 winrate

u can get this kd in silver elo its not hard but its fine in plat elo

I'd say that's pretty good! Shows you have good gun skill. Are you playing with a team or solo queuing?

Lol why lie? I just checked your profile "yenx.rg" shown in your steam screenshots. U are gold 3 with a 1.04 lifetime KD and a seasonal rank KD (in low gold) of 1.54.

i solo queued up to plat 3 and then i began to play competitive and i had a 1.3kd when i was gold 1

called a smurf its mostly for my friends when i play low elo with them because i cant play high elo when there bronze , Onix.TG is bronze 5 and RSK.R6 is copper , what do i do......

If it means anything, probably just kids trying to get a free carry, as that's how they got to plat in the first place

1.55 is quite a long way above average.

What rank you are matters as well though. It's not impressive in silver but in plat, it's terrific.

the highest kd one had was 1.3kd in gold 2 , his highest rank was plat 2 in neon dawn however whilst i checked his match history and i calculated the mmr when he was in plat he was going 1-2 but in gold he was going 3-2 etc , so most likely yes

Raising seasonal k/d is not that hard. Raising a lifetime k/d or all time k/d is not easy. You need to be committed to save your k/d.
