Any left-handed players?
Do you hold the mouse with the left or right hand?
What kind of keyboard (mechanical etc) and button layout do you use?
Do you use shortened keyboard or some other devices?

I've used to have traditional button layout and to hold mouse in the right hand for many years, and everything was completely fine until I've started playing Siege. At some point I've started feeling severely handicapped by my right hand. I'm just not fast and precise enough with it, no matter how much time I spend with the game.

So I've decided to switch hands, and boy, it was tough at first. Specificly, for the right hand. I've even noticed that I barely use it when I'm typing on the keyboard, since those fingers aren't really used to move on the keyboard at all.

But anyway.
I still use a standard keyboard. I've moved everything to the numpad and set up leaning and crouching at arrow keys nearby to press them with the thumb.
I've got used to it, to a degree. I still struggle at times with buttons, but my aim hasn't become any worse at the very least, so that's a positive. I can't move the character as easily as I used to and, probably, I won't ever be able to. But on the other hand, even the game itself feels somehow different now. Maybe it's just me and the fact that I move generally slower than I used to, but I think I notice and understand what's going on better now.

You have like numpad keyboards you can use besides your normal keyboard and can keymap them as well.... so you got a much smaller survice with enough keys

I don't know the best model... but I think all of them will do... I got a cheap one myself. Even better try a cheap one first.... see how it feels.

honestly never felt the need to switch controllers of any type because of being left handed, i only have one expection that was the wii mote that really is something quite unique and creative, never felt that siege somehow was special enough to warrant any change but i also never tried changing anything big as you suggested

I'm not left-handed person but my gf is and she got used to playing games with mouse in right hand but if you are unable to switch, and imo none left-handed person should to switch, i would recommend you to get a mouse with shape optimised for left hand or switch in game's setting left and right mouse buttons. As for keyboard, rocketjumpninja who is right-handed, uses unusual keys layour for gaming in general which imo would be very good for left handed people as well:
