Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege

Why Don't I Grow As R6 Youtuber?
I have 184 videos published and I've been uploading R6 montages like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OooH4Yquc7g&ab_channel=ZackBelanskz recently that takes about 2~3 days to take the clips and takes few hours. However, these montages only get around 20~30 views and I got 0 new subscribers in the last 28 days and I only have 12 subs which is mostly my friends or my sub account. I don't think there is really a subscribers that aren't one of my friends that likes my videos. I upload every two days(used to upload twice a day). I'm not trying to be a youtuber of a million or ten thousand subscribers. I just would like few hundred or thousand subscribers. It feels like other montage gets way more views and subs than me. I have lots of tags, try to make good thumbnail, and try to edit as good as I can. However, I don't grow I don't know how to improve. Any ideas on me growing as a youtuber?

Cause the game isn't popular. Play Warzone. If you wanna be a youtuber/twitch streamer you have to follow trends/fads.
try twitch man and goodluck
The Youtube scene for Siege plateaued a long time ago. Lots of established stars get much less views. Only the Memers are still doing well. Look at this as good experience for your next game and just enjoy this for what it is. The best time to get into these things is at the start of a fad, people are sheep and will eat up content when something is popular. There isn't much new to learn or see in Siege that hasn't been done at this point.
Name one of your videos "How to grow a TON of potatos!!!"
Should also look at what is big right now in entertainment.

The days of POGGERS MONTAGES are over, people dont care about that type of stuff anymore.

People like to see funny content, look at the biggest streamers on twitch. A lot of them may have come from pro gaming carriers but they mainly do random content now.

Look at XQC hes huge on twitch now, sure he grew by being an overwatch pro player. But now that hes at his peak hes making silly/fun content like GTA RP.

My point is, unless you are a super pro top 10% its going to be very hard for you to make content people will watch when it comes to montages.

Someone who makes good Siege content and is awful at siege is The Russian Badger, he doesnt make content just for siege but he used to make a lot of stuff on siege. Hes awful at the game but people love his siege videos because they are super funny, should go check him out.

Good luck out there, dont give up :)

GTA RP is one of the biggest sleeper content, right after among us.:steambored:
Could be because you insist on pounding insufferable music into someones ears.

Music's a bit too loud and your editing needs work.

Otherwise, the only way to continue on is to continue producing the content you enjoy.

Don't rely on youtube as a career unless if there's a sharp AND REMAINING steady increase of views. Treat it more like a hobby if anything.

But, at the end of the day, it's your channel man.
While it's some nice gameplay, clearly from someone who has some experience in the game, the lack of views isn't ever going to be your fault in any scenario for a multitude of reasons, reasons which I don't think can be fixed realistically.

It comes down to the same issue with football. My favorite footballer of the last few years has been Patrick Bamford of Leeds, one of my favorite footballers to watch of all time, but you've probably never even heard of him, why? Because he's not Ronaldo or Messi or Mbappe, just like the average popular highlight clip isn't from a hardcore player, it's from a professional E-Sports player like Beaulo or Pengu, and it's usually accompanied by commentary.

Based on personal observations of the Siege Youtube community, "funny moments", "trolling" and "catching hacker" videos oriented towards kids are where the views are to be had, and entering into that environment in 2021 Siege isn't an easy task, so if you're committed to it, it's going to take time, not just quality.

My best advice if you're committed to video production would be to swap genre entirely towards much more casual and comedy-based videos, something like what Tuxbird and a few others are doing
