The days of POGGERS MONTAGES are over, people dont care about that type of stuff anymore.
People like to see funny content, look at the biggest streamers on twitch. A lot of them may have come from pro gaming carriers but they mainly do random content now.
Look at XQC hes huge on twitch now, sure he grew by being an overwatch pro player. But now that hes at his peak hes making silly/fun content like GTA RP.
My point is, unless you are a super pro top 10% its going to be very hard for you to make content people will watch when it comes to montages.
Someone who makes good Siege content and is awful at siege is The Russian Badger, he doesnt make content just for siege but he used to make a lot of stuff on siege. Hes awful at the game but people love his siege videos because they are super funny, should go check him out.
Good luck out there, dont give up :)
Music's a bit too loud and your editing needs work.
Otherwise, the only way to continue on is to continue producing the content you enjoy.
Don't rely on youtube as a career unless if there's a sharp AND REMAINING steady increase of views. Treat it more like a hobby if anything.
But, at the end of the day, it's your channel man.
It comes down to the same issue with football. My favorite footballer of the last few years has been Patrick Bamford of Leeds, one of my favorite footballers to watch of all time, but you've probably never even heard of him, why? Because he's not Ronaldo or Messi or Mbappe, just like the average popular highlight clip isn't from a hardcore player, it's from a professional E-Sports player like Beaulo or Pengu, and it's usually accompanied by commentary.
Based on personal observations of the Siege Youtube community, "funny moments", "trolling" and "catching hacker" videos oriented towards kids are where the views are to be had, and entering into that environment in 2021 Siege isn't an easy task, so if you're committed to it, it's going to take time, not just quality.
My best advice if you're committed to video production would be to swap genre entirely towards much more casual and comedy-based videos, something like what Tuxbird and a few others are doing
