Overheating CPU.
hello, i have got an intel I9-10850k processor, when i play siege it overheats to like 90 degrees and multiple occasions crashed my PC completely. None of my other games cause this. i don't know how to fix it. any help?

Edit: I fixed it. i went into the files to cap the framerate at 60, it was pushing out over 300 before which caused my cpu to over work itself.

Make sure you're not overclocking both your CPU and GPU, Siege's optimisation is a bit funky, especially with loading

Make sure the BIOS is updated. At least that fixed it for me

You might have the 100% cpu bug. This is a common issue that doesn't have a single solution. Check your usage in task manager with the game running. Some options you should try Vulkan and see if that is any better, turn off fullscreen optimizations in properties by right clicking the rainbow six executable. That's what worked for me.
What CPU cooler do you use?

hey guys, thank you for the replies. I have the Cooler Master Masterliquid Lite 240 Liquid Cooling System w/ 240mm Radiator, Extreme OC Compatible. i only got my pc in november and this the only game i have trouble with. I can play more demanding games like EFT, Star citizen and red dead in 4k max. i dont overclock anything and i also contacted cyberpower. they're gonna send me a new cooler anyway, yet i dont think thats the problem. Thank you all.
