Privacy stats setting?

Having that one Plat 3 player trashtalk both his and the enemy team because apparently we're all sinners for being Gold 3 while he sits at the bottom of the scoreboeard with no kill is getting a tad repetitive.

It'd be nice to be able to hide our ranks/kd ratio/win ratio because at this point it's only there to give people some material to troll with.
And I know I shouldn't care about people who judge others only based on the rank they obtained 5 months ago, but this kind of toxicity is so repetitibe it's getting kinda hard to ignore.

That would be nice, but the thing is that they can just look you up on R6Tab or other stat sites.

But most of them would probably be too lazy to check the stats of 9 players, so it'd still be a win imo.

I wonder if the Streamer mode is something that'll somewhat fix this issue? The feature is still a work in progress but will remove your name, profile picture, clearance level, rank, etc. I'm not 100% if your K/D/W/L is included in that, but I can try to check and see if that's some information I can relay.

If the streamer mode comes out, I (and a lot of others too I feel) will definetely be using it if I can just play without fearing getting background-checked by sweaty plats in casual.

If the streamer mode comes out, I (and a lot of others too I feel) will definetely be using it if I can just play without fearing getting background-checked by sweaty plats in casual.

if it hides personnal info like name and stuff, it'd probably be really hard to find the one specific player on like R6tracker

AFAIK atm the streamer mode is only client sided, aka everyone else can see your name & stats, etc. Also 3rd party software like R6 tracker, Overwolf, R6 tab, etc. CAN STILL TRACK EVERYONE.

Atm even Macie Jay & Bikini Bodhi are kinda a tiny bit mad about the whole mess. According to one of them the "concept" Ubi showed 'em 9 months ago, was way better than the current version.

Edit: After the min 4 of the video, and after min 6 of the video there's the 2 streamers talking about it.

Edit 2: In any case eventually it should be fixed, so perhaps by year 7 or maybe year 8? idk if the system itself is complex or not.

Yeah i asked because i heard about that people were able to do everything they could now with the other 3rd party stuff mentioned above, i just want to play casual and chill but found out that way too many people started to use this to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mid game

I feel like a privacy setting would do some incredible good to the community and reducing toxicity overall.

if streamer mode does the trick, i will be happy because for one i dont give a single shiz about ranked, played like 3 matches when i was just starting out, but sweatlords in unranked or event modes start REEing about the kda shown and it just gets annoying when they justify their by brushing it off on my kda
