Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege

Patch Feb 23, 2021 @ 9:20pm
Wardens run animation?
Why is it so weird? did the devs ever explain why it needs to cover up like a quarter of your view?

Well the whole idea when they introduced Nokk and Warden was that from there onward they were going make different animations for future operators. However, they seem to have completely abandoned that idea, which I personally don't really mind. So yea, Nokk and Warden are the only operators with unique running animations.

Zero holds his pistol in a unique way, granted he's an iconic character of the franchise and that's sort of his signature weapon. I'm not opposed to operator specific animations to make each one feel more unique and have more first-person identity, so long as it isn't inhibiting to gameplay.

Zero is an iconic character? what is he from?

Zero = Sam Fisher (link 1), AKA the main character of the Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell video game series going as far back as 2002. The most recent game with him as the main player character was Splinter Cell: Blacklist in 2013, but he's since appeared in Ghost Recon: Wildlands, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, and now Rainbow 6: Siege since then. (link 2) He's kind of a badass. His 3-beam night vision goggles and silenced 5.7 USG pistol are like trademark calling cards of his (link 3)

Ahhhh. I figured that when I looked at him after you said it but I wasn't sure. Is it actually him ijn the game or just a guy that looks a lot like him? is his gadget used in the Splinter Cell games?

wish warden wasnt the only operator whos man tits flopped when he ran
Rahza Feb 25, 2021 @ 2:19am
It's definitely him, yeah. He's gotten a bit old and his beard's a bit scraggly but he's still a badass even at 63 lol. But yeah, if you check his Bio the name and birthplace and age and all that lines up. It's him alright. Samuel Fisher. Iconic important character from the Tom Clancy's series. The more you know! :)

I don't know if he had that little 2-way camera launcher of his in previous games of his. I don't have the Sam Fisher Bible though, could be wrong. As far as I know though this is a new device of his. And it's cool as hell :P
