Lone wolf in realistic isn't that difficulty if you use supressors, or have an idea about the bots regular pathing & how their "threat targetting" system work. It can get a bit annoying in disarm bomb & protect hostage on certain obj/maps tho.

It's still not easy by any stretch. I don't believe it's any way possible without a shield operator.

Supressors help, but the only way I found to do these missions is to wait for the AI enemies to empty their clips and reload. That gives you time to claim a headshot by lowering your shield.

Rescue Hostage and Elimination are doable like this. Elimination has a tight time limit though, as does Disarm Bomb.
Disarm bomb can be a bit random depending on the placing of the bomb. You get an extra 10 enemies spawn out of nowhere as soon as you place the first bomb. I've yet to complete this mode in lone wolf, realistic. Come close many times though, so I believe it's possible.

Protect hostage is near impossible in Realistic. Having said that I had a few games where the first wave AI glitched and some enemies got stuck outside where I couldn't go to shoot them, so I failed anyway.
Well lone wolf, protect hostage in realistic is possible there's many ways to cheese the AI:

Same applies to Disarm bomb in lone wolf, realistic:

Edit: For example Gridlock "stunlocks" the bots on their track, since they can't melee neither shot her gadget. In case you want a one time use - really loud flank watch you got Nomad, a regular flank watch to watch the bots "high traffic areas" would be Zero or if you love vertical - horizontal play Buck / Sledge / Ash / Zofia.
