So Arunis laser gates
Tbh I think they could revert the damage nerf, because 1 Finka boost just counters every laser gate. I play alot of Finka, because I needed a new "main" and this laser gates doesnt do much, if you know that they only deal 30 damage.

Yes you cannot destroy it and thats annoying, but annoying isnt OP.
Same thing with Clash, she isnt OP just annoying for some people, because they need to change the playstyle.
I think its refreshing that people cannot just win, because they have better reaction and aim.
If you use your gadget better, then you can win, too.
But Arunis gadget has too many counters in my opinion.
Yes people waste there stuff by throwing stuff, but on the pro players side, there is only 1 player who must waste 1 item.
And the cooldown is pretty high, so you can set up the rush and going in.
On the casual side, my teammate deactivate the lasers way more then reactivate it, because 2 reasons.
The lasers doesnt deactivate by teammates items and the little reactivate thingy is rly small.

In my opinion. Aruni rework should be Kapkan alternative not castle. Forget the idea of throwing utility to disable those red lasers.
Rework those visible laser to invisible but destructible and any defender crossing those lasers get same multiplier damage like kapkan traps.

So this way, she can put traps onto breached reinforced walls and hatches that kapkan can't.
and those flash or grenades shouldn't have any affect on lasers.

Her rework gadget. Attackers must get clear line of sight to shoot down from the other side. Right now, to enable her laser, defenders need to be in line of sights. that should keep in mind how attackers can shoot down those rework traps IF THEY SPOT IT.

Not sure of this rework being OP or Pro level.
but i really don't understand how to play Aruni in her current state.
Atleast when i play as castle, they still need to use utility to destroy and push me.
While her laser cannot protect me attackers from line of sight.

I agree with you and I like trap gadget.
This 30 dmg is rly not much dmg.
It doesnt block ways, most of the times you just get a notification that an attacker will push this side.
And most of the times, you get a notifcation anyways, because cams and they must destroy a barricade.

I said it wrong.
The sound when Arunis gate get deactivated are the notification.
I think you dont get point, if someone deactivate your gate.
Thus, me disabling notification is even more useless for me to play Aruni. So her whole gadget is what? wait for notification cue to make next move.

I can adapt to almost any other operator, even Blitz, who I hate, but Blackbeard, who if played right, can be the single most frustrating operator to play against. I don't believe any operator should have the ability to block a bullet to the head while still being able to shoot with a rifle. I can respect that you think I could adapt to him in the first place, instead of just saying something like "ur trash", but even if I spend the time to adapt to him, my teammates will always struggle, as there's few people I've met with the positional awareness to play against him properly. All operators, in my belief, should be fun to play as and against, both in higher ranks and lower.
i mean finka is the only one that i would say that has a "net positive" result against aruni, the rest are forced to waste something while finka keeps the other bonus from the boost active and so does the entire team. So honestly that change feels like forcing people into picking finka than really balancing aruni

Sums up how perfectly how I feel about this, +1. Kapkan is worse, doing 50 dmg and forcing you to divert your aim from where a peek would come from
