They don't care that you're stuck in a severely lopsided match or that your team is racist. You leaving would ruin the fun for those people. How dare you not get enjoyment from that.
Don't worry, though. You can waste your time staying until the end of the match, report them for that behavior (at least the racists), and then hope something is done about it, they don't do that again, and/or you don't end up in another match with the same or similar conditions.
I'm not even against the fact i can't go into another match while the match i left is still going. fair enough on that one, but the added timer after the fact is a real hassle, and it's not a situation that only fits this very obscure scenario. You can be locked out of playing the game for 30 minutes because your power went out for five seconds before your match ends. Because you "abandoned the match" and said match finishes, you still count as someone who abandoned.
To add to it, the current system basically is almost worse than trolls leaving a match, because in this case, a player can be stuck in a match with a bunch of trolls instead, and they can't leave because doing so hurts THEM not the trolls. As for "developing social skills" i have friends, most of which despise FPS games and prefer isometric RPGs. Not exactly the types of people you can convince to hop on and learn this game.
sure why not building a team based system around a bunch of that aint or just are not willing to work out into a team. i mean its ridiculous to assume something like that in a 5 squad team based competative tactical fps shooter... life is crazy man.
but quite amusing some just try everything and grab even the smallest straw just not to have to find people they might be much more successful with than roaming like lone stray dogs.
Yes. grasping at straws. Indeed.
