I guess I understand that, but it seems so redundant to add an entire weapon that replaces your secondary, just for 1 shot to destroy a bulletproof gadget. Like, frags work just fine. They could have made something more creative/useful
Because it's a hand cannon with one shot that can be countered by Jager, the most commonly seen defense operator, it is way too situational.
I get why they made it one shot, because it would severely nerf operators like Melusi and Maestro otherwise, but how about we don't implement bulletproof gadgets with that much utility into the game in the first place?
The Gonne-6 feels like a band-aid rather than a reliable counter. It certainly doesn't justify Dokkaebi and Finka losing their frag grenades as those were slight nerfs that neither of them needed.
If the Gonne-6 ever gets buffed, then maybe it would make up for it, but it just seems like they've designed themselves into a corner and are trying to get out of it instead of admitting bulletproof gadgets are a flawed concept.
Pistols are more useful too because of the reduced ADS time, so if you're rushing a Clash for example, then you can aim for her head and get the shot before she tries to shoot you down for rushing her.
Another issue is if you grab the hostage, you better not have the Gonne-6 selected.
Finka with frags was obviously better, but now that she doesn't have frags at least she has the Gonne-6 as consolation. IMO Gonne-6 > pistol for her rn
Wish they'd just give Zero his frags back though.
