not fair i played a 3v5 and lost elo but its cause of our teamates leaving as the game started so i mean can we can a elo loss decrease the less players there are

This will easily be abused. Players will leave intentionally just so their stack loses less elo.

It doesn't need to be a stack, it can still be abused.

The entire team can just choose to bully one person into leaving so they get reduced elo loss

If someone leaves early because they got mad at something that happened in the game, too bad.

Your teammates having a weak mindset is not something you should be compensated for. It just means you got unlucky with a bad teammate.
