Black Bars with 32:9

So i just got a new G9 monitor and launched the game on 5120x1440 240hz and i was surprised to find black bars in the menu and in- game.

In the settings i changed the aspect ratio from Auto to Resolution But it didnt help. The maximum aspect ratio in the settings is 21:9

Is this normal or am i doing something wrong here?

Damn. Y'all getting black bars? Widescreen letterbox has been broken since the previous operation so I can't force 16 by 9 no matter how hard I try and they have yet to fix

In fact I noticed with 3840x1600 resolution I had some tiny little black bars around, but I fixed changing the resolution to 21:9 (I think... idr now lol).
So before it was working without issues, interesting.

It is fine be envious, but you don't need to be rude with the user just because he has a g9 but you don't

After some searching i discovered that the last update dropped the 32:9 ratio for some reason! I hope they bring it back soon.

I respect your opinion regarding ultra wide monitors but you dont have to be toxic.

In a modern world, it is becoming normal to have Ultrawide monitor. I have been using it for 2 years now. And it is really sad I am playing 21:9 with black bars on my UW 32:9. And it is a bug and broken that has been discussed even on reddit and numerous times here. Please, Ubisoft, fix this!
