Cant buy weapon skins

For the love of whatever you believe in, please tell me someone knows how to purchase those damn weapon skins on steam while you own the game on uplay. I have literally googled every phrase I could think of and have not found a sollution.

I cannot purchase the Ruby and Cyan weapon skins because steam doesnt recognize my LINKED uplay account and says I do not own Rainbow Six Siege. I have tried to add the game to my steam library but nothing works. I just want the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ skins and move on, why does it have to be so difficult.
