CS:GO is much more mechanically demanding, with recoil control, moving innacuracy and such. But you can get the hang of the maps and get your game sense at a decent level at 100 hours of playtime or so.
R6 is much less mechanically demanding, although it requires quick reflexes, but to get your game sense at a decent level would require you 200-300 even 400 hours of playtime.
Maps are huge with multiple floors and filled with angles to check, you have to understand what operators do, which ones you need to pick, droning, ability usage, and much more.
So if you're going SoloQ, don't waste your time and money (exception being if you're a hardcore masochist), if you're going with at minimum 1 friend it could be fun, but only buy in a steam sale never at full price; is highly recommended you ONLY play the game with a full 5 stack of friends.
hard to play? for your first hours yes, but easy to master, unlike CS
Come on dude you know thats BS.
With that being said, CS PL is easier to watch & more fun. R6S PL is boring to watch & difficult to follow (specially to someone totally new to the genre / average viewer), an example of similar PL stagnation would be Overwatch PL, that is slowly dying off atm.
