Who is, in your opinion, the best operator, and why?

Now, I don't main anyone. But there are people out there who do. I'm not looking for "I MAIN ASH BECAUSE SHES GOOD" responses, I mean, something like "I play Rook often because I'm not the best player, but my armor helps my teammates and the gun is very good" type responses

@OP are you asking this out of curiosity or due wanting to know which operator to buy next?

In any case, on attack Capitao / Maverick / Zero due being a SoloQ friendly & very versatile operators, they do help a lot the team with their utility. If the player is decent and the team is coordinated enough.

On defense Mute / Lesion / Kaid, their kits do help their team a ton & can be pretty much self sufficient, without the need to go gun & run like COD "type" of players.

I legit had this conversation with my friend last night. My choice would be Sledge. In 5 years, he has been the most consistent and balanced operator in the game. He's got great guns, he has the ability to help clear utility, AND has a gadget for soft destruction, which, depending on the site you're attacking, really changes the dynamic of your team pushes and how the defenders play.

He's also my main, so, yeah. xD

I would say Ace is the best operator in the game. He's got the best gun, he's got a low skill ceiling, he's got smokes, he's solo friendly and he's a hard breacher. A hard breacher that can frag and brings great secondary utility. Only thing he doesn't do is play vertically.

Zofia is the best operator. She soft breaches at a distance like Ash. Her concussion grenades are better than Ela's as they can spot enemies by proximity detonation. Her AR has amazing ADS time and no recoil. Her ability revives her when she is downed akin to Finka. Essentially Zofia is a combination of Ela, Ash and Finka. But Gleck, she can't hard breach you're such a noob! True, but who needs to hard breach when you have a grenade launcher that can clear nearly every doorway trap in the game at a distance? Then as you approach the doorway you prefire with easily managed recoil. Last but not least your pistol has an amazing sight.

mute counters so many gadgets smg 11 that can even be used for sniping ppl shotgun for making hole on the floor that denies entry from bottom floor and making rotations and so much more
