FPS limit without input lag?
Theres an FPS limit in the settings file, but enabling it to 60 creates input lag. I need to limit my FPS because my king computer overheats a bit getting like 500 fps

If you're using a Nvidia card you can go into the Nvidia control panel, then go into manage 3d settings and find "Max frame rate" There you can set a custom FPS cap. AMD cards have something similar in their software too, I think.

No. Having more fps will still feel more smooth.

Thx for replying but capping it to more fps doesn't mean I will get more fps!
AMD cards have anti-lag and various other gimmicks to reduce input lag, although it's minimal and barely works

I didn't say that... Perhaps you misunderstood. You shouldn't cap your FPS.
Download Rivatuner statistics server and limit it there, it's the best way to limit FPS with only 1 frame in delay penalty.

Capping at a framerate limits how many frames your PC will produce. Useful for cooling down your PC, but also increases input lag a bit.

AFAIK limiting FPS always creates a slight drop in performance and/or input lag.
Change your temp caps instead.

MSI afterburner via its bundled riva tuner statistics server.
