It has:
- Faster TTK than half of DMRs at distances up to 10m (basically, almost anywhere inside a map, Caveira isn't an attacker, so its not an issue)
- At the same time silenced (BTW, better than any silenced DMR in TTK department)
- Way faster ads time than any primary attack weapon, including DMRs
- Much more valuable reward for winning a gunfight than just killing an enemy
In what exactly it lacks?
I was just looking at the stats to see what DMRs are better silenced, and figured out that Luison is probably the best. WTF?
Luison has at the very least comparable, if not better, recoil.
MK-14 is still slower, has less damage.
12 rounds mag? Higher than any high-damage pistol in the game. Not as high as DMR, but still decent enough. Could easily kill a couple of enemies in a row. And reload animation is one of the fastest in the game.
No scope? Well, it's kind of a disadvantage in comparision to DMR, i guess. Not that much of disadvantage when you can go almost quickscope though.
You've probably had a round where you lost to Caveira and so you want to nerf her. So, if you know there's a Caveira, watch your flanks, place claymores, place airjabs, don't go into the building solo, and get good.
Totally agree because with that answer.
What distances are you talking about? Are we even playing the same game? You know, the one, where the average kill distance is about 9 meters?
Or you are supposed to look for spawn peaks an entire round if you happen to pick a DMR as an attacker?
Rainbow Six Siege is not cs:go
I see these arguements off topic, but anyway.
Bad primary.
Caveira's shotgun is one of the best in the game.
SMG is terrible, but what exactly stops devs to buff or switch it to balance everything out?
On the other hand, there's an absolutely terrible Glaz with highly situational gadget and a DMR that looses gunfights to even secondaries.
Teamwork and flanks etc.
If you are careful, play with a mate (if you happen to have one), and you are able to cover every flank, and Caveira is roaming absolutely blind with no callouts and no intel, of course you should outplay her. But what about your random teammates? Are you ever that confident in them? What if they get interrogated?
That is the risk of attackers and using your drones to discover which operators on defender side.
