I only tried this because I read on another discussion that was suggesting the 20%, i'll keep asking around and maybe try support. It expires Dec 31 btw.
So.. We would have to wait until the Year 3 comes live to use the coupon right?
edit: I did this for year 2 too.
THANK YOU SO MUCH! it worked!
https://club.ubisoft.com/en-US/shop-discount
basically you need 100 ubisoft club points ( which u get by unlocking certain ingame challenges (on uplay)) to unlock it.
I got burned on this once. Those discounts are pure BS.
1) They don't work on 'new items'
2) They expire (read the fine print)
3) You can't refund the points even minutes after you purchase (I tried and ubi told me they don't refund)
If you want to get the uplay point discount codes then review the product you're purchasing first. I've seen some of the more recent content has an exclaimer on the uplay store page saying something like 'This item is not eligible for discount'.
If it were me, I'd save those points for in-game items instead of rolling the dice hoping to get a discount on something only to get denied in the shopping cart.
