Advanced edition or standard edition?

I played the game in free weekend and i quite liked it. Now I want to buy it, but what are the differences between advanced and standard? I want the normal one. The one that most people buy. Is it the standard edition?

Yeah. Advanced gives you 10 packs when the new year kicks off and 600 free creds, which is one DLC operator. If it’s still on sale, I’d definitely opt for advanced. If not, then get standard.

Advanced is the same as standard except it basically railroads you into buying 10 loot boxes.

Would strongly recommend against.

I have the similar question as asked in this post. The reason why I am still not clear after reading all comments, I do not know what actually means or benefits and outcomes of having Advanced Edition (10 packs when the new year kicks off and 600 free creds) but what actually these 10 packs and 600 free credits can do in the game itself for a beginner in R6S?
