downloading 2 times?

so i played the free weekend on steam and decided to buy the complete edition (but on accident a key for uplay instead of steam) and now my uplay tells me that my free weekend is expired while there is a second r6 in my library which i have to download again... if i try to locate the already installed game in my files it says "failed to validate game files". i obviously dont want the game installed twice and because my internet isnt that fast i dont want to delete the game just to reinstall it. srsly uplay is so♥♥♥♥♥♥compared to steam.

i think you dont understand my problem, i have tryed to open it in uplay but in my uplay library there are 2 r6 sieges, one is saying expired, the other one is saying download. i have checked my files and the actual game (50gb) is located in my common steamapps.
problem is that uplay is not working properly and cant locate my already installed game.

i have same problem, i hope we can find the answer. i bought the rus version on uplay.

Permanently delete the game on Steam. Just make sure to delete the right one.
