R6 Battle Planner!
Hey everyone!

For the past 6 months, my friend and I have been delving deeper and deeper into the R6 competitive scene. Unfortunately, Ubisoft's Whiteboard application isn't great and hasn't been updated since Coastline was called Ibiza.

As such, we've been working on our own alternative! We present to you, the R6 Battle Planner![r6.tavernsidepodcast.com]

This is a fan-made website that lets you plan strategies and tactics efficiently and as a group!

The entire site is built around our Room system. The Room system lets you load and save battleplans on the fly, without needing to open a new Room. Any number of people can connect to a Room and see live changes happen.

This project is absolutely, 100% fan-made and we are both still students, so any comments and suggestions are welcome!

On that note, we currently are missing the updated Clubhouse and Hereford Base maps as we couldn't find the assets in time so if anyone can send us those image files we would greatly appreciate it!

Comments and requests can be sent to me on Reddit or sent to tavern.side.podcast@gmail.com

Features:

Live updates, operator selection, save/load previous battleplans, drawing directly on the map.

Planned Features:

Operator tool drag & drop, operator color selection.

I would like to mark the reinforcement for each operator or at least color it but some operators have the same color and you cant change them.
Thank you for such a helpful Website Im very grateful for it!

Love the concept, love the idea. Only issue is right now. March 29th 2020, it's very buggy and slow. Can't load saved rooms and the rooms even sometimes freeze. Been getting HTML disconnection errors.

Other than that, great stuff!

Hey, the website has been taken down as we no longer have the funds to maintain it. We made an official announcement on the discord:

Unfortunately, the time has come for both MaplePotion and I to halt development of the battleplanner.io website. I'm sure not many in this server are surprised to hear this, as our degree of absenteeism over the past few months has been somewhat telling. We started battleplanner as a cute tool for a friend who needed more than MSPaint, and it has since become much more than that. We've been live and free, with a massive user base, for over 4 years. We would like to thank the community, that welcomed us with open arms, the @Mod and @Trial-Mod on this server, who've kept things running with little to no communication from us, each and every user who helped us grow, either through word of mouth or posts on social media and, of course, everyone who supported us on Patreon.

We stayed firm in our convictions to keep the project open-source and free, but the server costs have become too high, and our focus has shifted to getting jobs and paying rent. I'm sorry to all of you who feel that this end is coming suddenly and, as such, we will be leaving the server online for exactly one more month, to give users the ability to screenshot strategies they'd like to keep.

The project's GitHub link will stay up, and we encourage anyone with experience in development to give it a shot, and see if this torch can be passed on.

Thank you once again,
