Operator Costs

I am very confused on the costs of operators in r6s, I have the standard edition and operators cost 25,000 renown. I am wondering how much operators cost in other editions of the game, because I thought in the starter edition they were more expensive but in the other versions they are normal price. I have played 45 hours and now can finally buy a new person, which is quite a while... most of that time is because i am bad but i just started this game and havent played a fps in a while.

You only get the 20 original ops for free in the standard edition. The rest are DLC operators that you can unlock for 25k renown which is roughly 25 to 30 hours of play.

originally, it was like this
there are base ops and dlc ops, in starter edition, the game allows you to unlock some base ops instantly, to buy another base ops you need 12500 renown, the dlc is 25000 renown. while the standard edition, the base ops cost will increase each time you buy one of the ops in the same ctu, lets say you like GSG 9 and decided to buy all of them, the price will start at 500, 1000 for the next ops for GSG 9 155 for the next and stops at 2000 ( i might be wrong on the price but the system is like that) while the dlc ops is still 25000 renown.
but wasnt they updated the system that makes all standard edition have all the base ops unlocked ?

Yes, except for the complete edition.

But dont you start with 20 (total) ops in everything above standard edition? And would the DLC ops be everyone but the ones standard edition gets?
