R6 siege headshots are bs
1. 1 shot headshot no matter the caliber and distance is realistic : wrong. Most modern combat headgears are capable of protecting the user. Obviously rounds from high caliber sniper rifles are near impossible to stop, but 9mm rounds and even magnum rounds firing from smgs like we see everyday in R6 is easily handled. Proof? Here you go

At least they should change the dmg depening on caliber. Rifle rounds are likely to get one shot headshot. Thats a fact. But 9mm from more than 50 meters away? Spawnkills wont be a problem anymore.


2. it is by design : we like to believe that r6 is lot more realistic and have better logic compare to other games. However, 'the one shot headshot no matter ♥♥♥♥ing what' ruins the game very very hard. How many times did you feel WTF playing this game because someone shot you with a unrealistic situations? smoke's smg throuth a wall and hit you in the headand died instantly with one bullet?

Even CSGo has better logic then R6 siege : Pistols (9mm not desert eagle) cant kill someone with 1 shot with kevlar but AK47 rifle rounds will. Thats pretty accurate. In Siege? Nope

That's also a massive problem though. If it's on presidential plane, there will literally be NO WAY to counter him at all.
I honestly dont know what devs were thinking with glaz breaking through windows...I think thats one that just shows dev's lack of understanding of the game

I'd love to see a video of a defender instantly sniping an attacker with a Vector ( which doesnt have an acog ) while the attacker has an acog

Did i ever say make siege something like ARMA? no right? i said change the headshot dmg equation so 9mm pee shooters wont get 1 shot headshots from tale of the plane to 300 meter out. its a balance issue that doesnt make sense in game style and a unrealistic at the same time.
Exactly how many times do you think people get kills at long range from 9mm guns? I mean you seem to want us to forget this, because it's stupid, but you made this thread because spawn peekers where killing you
So how many times do you think that happens to the majority of players? And honestly how many people do you think care? If it's a 9mm pistol one would assume it would be harder to land that shot than if it was a rifle, so it's not like the 9mm headshot instant kill is unfair at all

i think i posted on another thread that I get killed from spawn kills once in 20 matches so I told the OP to learn to counter it.

Yes, the servers need fixed. The headshots will be perfectly fine once that is done. Ubisoft si attempting to change things somewhat gradually, so as not to completely alienate everyone used to current meta.

Spawn killers aren't exactly killing with pistols and if it's an smg then in terms of game balance it's fine

I will admit that vid is poor example of smart spawn kill, but the point was extreme headshot rewards. If you wanna see 9mms problem, watch Macie Jay or Serenity vids with bandit and mira etc. they will go and say time to time : this is too ez.
