Got banned for writing sp1cy?! what does that mean?

so i was playing a ranked game with my friend and his name is sp1cyantelope7 i was prefering to him in team chat then when the round started i got banned... why is that... i saw many people get banned for word sp1cy what does it mean?!! I think it is stupid to get banned when i am a foreign english isnt my first language so how could i tell if it is a slur...

sp.ic, sp.ic is a slur for hispanic people, so its obviously banned
sp1c is a bypass for sp.ic, so that is banned too
so when you type sp1cy, the system sees your just trying to bypass the system

spicy and spice are not banned, just call your friend spicy
