why can't i pick clash?

i come back after a year long break and i can't play my main defence character that i paid for with my own money because shes bugged, and they still havnt been bothered to fix it since the 19th. is this a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke.

It was fixed, But cheaters found a way to do it again.

There's plenty other ops for you to abuse, let them do their thing and fix it right. Rushing things is what allows exploiters and cheaters to find stuff.

Blame it on the exploiters, not the programmers.

this isnt a little indie studio its ubisoft and one of their most profitable games, im sorry i expect a company to keep their product working at the most basic level of functionality and not make people wait multiple weeks to use the thing they make us pay for

Are you serious? And blocking clash is not at the most basic level of functionality? Did I miss something? Can we not run the game at all or play any matches because clash is broken?

maybe they should fix their game instead of blocking content, imagine if any other game pulled this for more than a day or two instead of doing their job

Please note there was a fix originally released, but it caused some other minor issues, so it was reverted. The team is currently working on a new fix for the exploit, but it is a bit delayed due to the holiday season. We appreciate your patience as the team works to resolve it.
On the topic of "Why is Clash locked instead of just fixing it right away" I suggest reading this post mortem about exploit fixes here.[rainbow6.ubisoft.com] In short, it is just an overall better experience to remove the operator causing the glitch rather than let people continue to use the glitch while the team works on a fix.

tbh i was so mad at the dumb excuses people were giving me in the thread that i forgot the devs have been at home with their families and not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around with video game bugs which is perfectly reasonable.

That's alright! As long as you can understand holidays just mean fewer people available, hence why it is taking a bit longer.
