All SAS Operators Vs Smoke

Hi! I did a test with my friend to see if sas operators can survive smokes gas nades.The results shocked me... they take damage.
Im like your joking right but nah its like there gas masks are not even gas masks but some paper mache fake ones... i mean Ubisoft said "We are going for a realistic game" Well then? Y u no make sas operators immune to smokes gas

They never said the game was going to be realistic. With that said, to answer this problem...

Smoke is the only operator with a closed-circuit system. Gas masks don't work for 100% of things, yet Smoke's does because he has a respiratory system on his back, which is connected to the mask. Smoke's canister has a deadly gas which Gas Masks cannot filter, but Smoke can breath it because he breathes the air from his respirator.

His suit is also air tight, whereas the other SAS suits aren't.

you do realize he's wearing a hazmat suit + a special filter on his back. Do the other SAS ops use hazmat suits? No, they have jumpsuits. Do they have a special filter on their back? no. If you're going to knickpick at least look over the obvious man.
