Crash mid-game or disconnects.
Hello,

I have 700+ hours of gameplay, in the first 600-650 hours, it was a clean game.
But lately, I think for 4-5 months, I have been crashing to desktop mid-game (and uPlay doesn't say "send a crash report" like it would regularly do on other crashes) or I disconnect to main menu after a 30/45 seconds of freezing.

I can't pinpoint the problem, sometimes can play around 2-3 hours with no crashes or no dc's. But sometimes even in the first round either one of these problems occur. It seems completely random.

I have tried:
- Running in compability mode,
- Running as administrator,
- Disabling uPlay overlay and cloud saves,
- Verifying integrity of the game,
- Closing all background apps, including antivirus, Logitech joystik stuff.
- Removed Logitech F710's USB from computer. Also disabled most of the USB's.
- Disconnected the external harddrive.

Small details:
- Wildlands, which is another Ubi/ uPlay related game is also frequently crashing to desktop too but it says "send a crash report" unlike in R6, where it doesn't.
- I play on Ultra with most of the settings topped.
- No other game crashes like this, or this frequently. They usually crash because I put way too many mods.
- I use a Compact Steam skin, the idea just popped to me like MAYBE it could be the reason. I will try switching to regular Steam skin.
- Also in the last 5 minutes, I thought maybe my second graphics card might cause it somehow, so I'll disable it and try like that.

Specs:
NVIDIA 970 + NVIDIA 660Ti
Windows 7 x64 S.P. 1
Intel i5-3570K @3.40 GHz
8 GB RAM

This is becoming super annoying because I drop out so frequently. My friends and I can't play a proper game without me raging. I was hoping OP Health would at least give me some space, but so far it's going the same way. Any help/suggestion is appreciated.

Btw, if anyone sees this post in the future, disabling my second card OR returning to vanilla Steam skin seems to solve it. Been playing for 3 hours, no crashes or disconnects. Hopefully it'll help someone.

Around 60 Celsius. I'd say that's normal?

60 C is ok
what os do you have? win 10? creators update? pirated or licensed?(some pirated OS comes with bitcoin miner in it etc..), windows clean install? are you playing siege in fullscreen or windowed/borderless? have you tried disabling the "fullscreen optimization" on the .exe's compatibility tab? XBox DVR? win 10 game mode? how often you update your pc through windows update?
what happened around "4-5 months ago" which could cause these issues?
are you using nvidia experience? is that optimizing your games by default?
drivers?
have you repaired Visual C++ 201"X" Redistributable Packages? (when you try to uninstall them a pop up window shows a repair button next to uninstall)
deleting GameSetting.ini? (my documents>my games>siege>"numbers and letters folder")

maybe a simple reinstalling of the game does the trick but as you can see there are "some" other possibilities

Did you ever find a fix? Your issue sounds IDENTICAL to mine. 30-45 second freeze then crash to menu. Happens randomly. Might go days without an issue, might have an issue every night. I have done ALL the things you listed.

When I moved to Canada, I gave my PC to a local shop, they reinstalled Windows 10, original version. No pirate.

This fixed every crash related issue, I can now play without problems, including R6: Siege. Appearantly Windows was messing with installers or someshit (I used to crash in GTA V a lot too), that's what he said.

Had some random disconnects when I reinstalled this after a 5 month break, now though game hasn´t disconnected from games for a while.

Did that work for you? Ive been having the same problem and this is the only thread I could find describing the exact problem.

Havent tried it yet. The latest thing I tried was reinstalling some Killer Network driver thing that my MSI motherboard has. I managed to play one night wity no problems but honestly I haven't played since. I will update as I progress through this issue though. Also here is a thread I posted on in the Ubi-forums that seems to have the same problem. https://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1802025-Error-Code-2-0x0000c015-(Lost-connection-to-match
