What does Advanced Gadget Deployment do?

It's only relavent for Shields and Barbed Wire, along with Bandit Batteries, Jammers, pretty much anything you place on the ground.

bruh seriously i read the text, but why am i still need to hold G instead of just click it then hold with my LMB..

Press G to grab the gadget. Hold LMB to actually put the thing down instead of clicking and being forced to do the whole animation. Either way if you want to complete the action you need to do the whole animation, advanced gives you a choice to stop.
