Can't shoot through the fallen cabinet on Kafe Dostoyevsky

I dumped a full mag with the G8 lmg. Rook took zero damage and just impacted me.

Are you talking about in the reading room? Because ive always wondered if it was meant to be bullet proof or if its an oversight.
