in game sound muffled after using hyperx cloud alpha

my sound in main menu and other parts of the pc is fine but for some reason when i go in-game the sound become muffled and softer then before. is there any fix for this? (i got a new headphone today but as i stated above everything else including the main menu is fine)

Hey, I've been having the same problem with my cloud alpha s and i was wondering if you have found a solution to this it's driving me insane and if you have PLEASE reply. Thank you

In windows sound options you can choose between "HyperX Cloud Alpha S chat" and "HyperX Cloud Alpha S game". Switching to game should fix it. Idk why they even added this feature..
