Yes a SSD will help with load times...
Move the folder to the SSD and point Steam to where you moved it....
I'm using hdd for os and games and maps in siege are loading within seconds. If maps are loading long it means hdd is old or dying/failing.
I do not recommend seagate's drives as they have high failure rate and recently one their series had a serious flaw in design.
Also in your case upgrading to 16GB of ram would be welcome, preferably 3000MHz.
One more thing: do not buy ssd with QLC memory chips as these are literally slower than hdd.
16 gb 3000Mhz:
ADATA XPG Z1 16 GB [pcpartpicker.com] $60
8 gb 3200Mhz:
G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 8 GB [pcpartpicker.com] $43
Note: I also have 8gb of ram and the game runs great with high FPS, the 16 gig kit isn't necessary but it would be a nice touch.
Up the RAM Capacity if possible.
Adding another 8 GB of RAM isn't really necessary for gaming but I did it on the start of 2020 to increase my chrome tabs and also for editing photo's and video's. But if you want to buy another stick of RAM, I suggest you buy the same RAM or another stick of RAM with the same frequency or speed which is 2133mhz in your case.
Your PC wont benefit on FPS at all from an SSD unless you are already throttling it with seriously undercutting your ram and it having to switch to the HDD and at that point nothing would be playable regardless of ssd or hdd
but 2133mhz ram? can you even buy preset ram that is "that" slow?
every kit i'v ever seen was atleast 2400mhz
your mobo might be underclocking it for some reason. as my 2400mhz kit was running at 2133mhz when i first put it in, and i needed to go into the bios and change it to it's rated speed.
ryzen cpu's really do benefit from faster memory and i doubt that kit couldn't do alteast 2666mhz
even i can get 2666mhz out of mine and i use a h310 pro mobo (a 50$ non unlocked chipset)
What does it have to do with AMD? Is this some sort of battle among intel and AMD?
I know my HDD is not failing its only 3 months old.
Could it be possible that I need to lower my settings cause right now everythings on high.
