Fix Votekick abuse

Fix people abusing votekick. It often happens that 4 stacks kick you during loading a ongoing match. You cant even report those idiots because you are still in the loading screen. Votekick should not be doable while the person is not even fully in the game yet

Votekick should be removed from casual/quickplay in general, there's no point in having it there if there's not any abandonment penalty for leaving

I'm interested to hear how the community would restructure VTK in order to make it less toxic? Like not being able to kick folks that are still loading in is one thing, but are there any other ideas around this?

I think a timer would be a start so you cant kick anyone who has not been at least x amount of time in the game. Another idea would be to make votekick so that votes have to come from different sources. So lets say a 3 squad and 2 random people are matched up. if the 3 squad wants to kick someone they need the 1 vote from the second random. but i dont know if thats possible to implement.

its already impossible for a 3 squad to kick someone without the other random to vote yes as well

so if someone is staying afk in the spawn you shouldnt be able to kick him?

Like I said implement a timer so you can only kick someone after a certain amount of time has passed and make it impossible for 4 squads to kick the 5th team member unless he tks or is afk long enough.

You have to note that the other 9 players are waiting for you. The world does not revolve around you.

You will need to do something to load in faster if you don't want an average casual lobby to kick you out, or play Unranked/Ranked.

My complaint has nothing to do with load times. What I am complaining about is people abusing votekick. You get kicked by kids who think they are funny literally seconds into the load screen. If you cant wait a few seconds for someone to load the problem is you.

And how often does this really happen? I've been gratuitously kicked at the beginning of a match maybe once or twice in 1000+ hours.

guess youre lucky then, ive been kicked a lot of times before the match started and i have played for around half that time

now ur saying someone who spent more time in a match gets kicked loses his rewards yay

if you have a problem u probably got kicked cause ur either and idiot or ur bad

Did you even read my post? I got kicked while loading into an ongoing match. I didnt even play for 1 second that round.
