R6S is stupid
Guns act like its call of duty.
Operators feel more like anime soldiers than real life special forces. I hate to say this but even csgo is more closer to realism than r6s.
Write in comments what the next anime soldier ability will be. Freeze time perhaps?
Creative liberty has gone out of hand and Team Rainbow is only a team of freaks playing at the backyard pretending to be special forces.

Here are my suggestions:
Magneto: Has a gadget that literally sucks bullets into itself.
Zoo: Has a gadget that makes surfaces wet and sticky making it harder to move.
Spy: Can turn into either defender/attacker
Back seat gamer: He will act as your eyes and ears

Well if i could find the full reveal panels vod on twich i would start to point out issues and contradictions on design, let's take wamai for example, artist did research on the kenian army, their uniform, weapons and overall equipament, made multiple designs based on that. None got approved, except a quick doodle of swimming gear that wasn't even meant to be there, director pointed out "That one" and so they stuck with super aqualad that can breath underwater wamai because the whim of director wanting Heroes not CTUs, it's kinda disrespectful.

Seriously look at the british SAS ops from the base game, then look at wamai and kali. Take a look at the GIGN french base ops and then take a look at the GROM polish ops. If you feel like i actually need to explain my issues when looking at those designs, i will do so, but it will be the fifth time i will be explaining everything only to fall into deaf years, the developers don't care, the higher ups don't care. I honestly expect that even if you care it won't change a thing and i am already tired of wasting my breath.

The biggest problems lies with the Rainbow Six and Tom Clancy tag this game has, overwatch is a hero shooter with cartoony designs, i have no problem with overwatch because it's something new and it was meant to be like that, rainbow six was not be about this e-sports, look i can understand focusing a game on multiplayer and just having a throwawy training plot, but you keep it to being about professional CTUs with a semi-realistic representation (as far as i am aware there was no woman on the JTF simply because none passed the exams, yet you don't hear me ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about frost design). Once again, game is now fully about esports you have direct quotes of the devs saying they dropped anything related to terrorism just to make the characters be training for their invitational sports. That's literally a shift in direction in many ways, both relating to design (hero/athletes individuals vs CTUs as a uniform unit) and gameplay (ops must be about meta games and appeasing proleague)

Why should i waste my time when it's pretty clear UBISOFT DOESN'T CARE. Feel free to prove me wrong, explain why making a game about CTUs be about esports is for the lore as some e-sports in game. Explain to me why wamai having super lungs and Oryx having abnormal upper muscular body strenght with a misterious past is someone you want in your team. The game is now about mix of representation of CTUs with different specialty in training scenarios. Is about heroes who are superhuman who no longer represent their country and instead are individual characters with overly dramatic pasts of lately who are athletes in this game we call siege.

They are not people who were called in because they are competent and are professionals, they are obvious example os simply something made to sell. This game is just like 2017 version of The mummy, currently is pure marketing without content made to generate money using previous incarnation work.

I am quite happy my country got added in Year 1, because if it was currently instead of old cop that lost an eye and reformed youth now working as policewoman, we would have an ancient shamam who had an spiritual experience after getting injured, learned the ancients way of his people to then re-apply them to his training and serve as voice of wisdom and mysticism. Instead of a cop-who-just-wants-to-do-his-job.

Hello! As to make operators more realistic, the devs can just look back at older rainbow six games, or older Ghost Recon games in the franchse, before Future Soldier.

They can also look at Arma 3 gear, Squad gear, SWAT 3 & 4 gear. Or even contact old Rainbow Six & Ghost Recon devs from Ground Branch! To a lesser degree they can even look at Insurgency franchise for new gear, and for new White Masks bots models for Thunt.

Old operators rely on brute force whereas new ops have these "GoGo gadgets" that only work in certain situations and they longer look like actual special forces. And start wondering why nobody is playing them. I was one of those people who wanted a "ladder operator" someone who could go up hatches and have a quicker access to obj. How did that workout with Amaru? Poor pickrate, her gogo gadget is bad.
1. They wear no protective gear. Ever since the DLC ops started coming out the ops have less and less protective gear like helmets and even the basic a some kind ballistic vest.
2. Their gadgets are somehow related to their bios (this is the biggest mistake)

I think some of the "custom made" specialist weaponry is ok, but you guys kinda went bananas with it.

How about adding actual functional scopes? Ones that don't zoom the entire FOV of the game in when you zoom.

How about adding actual magazine clips rather than a pool of ammo. Like, if you reload half a clip, you still have half a clip in your inventory



It's too late to "fix it" most of it. Maybe if another R6 comes out it will be more pragmatic like the OG games

Agreed. I hoped Ready or Not could be a realistic alternative once its done but the latest pvp event showed that it needs at least another year of development to not be complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Not sure why they showed the pvp when its supposed to be a successor to swat. Swat:s focus wasnt its pvp that made it memorable.

its not the small unrealistic things that make it silly, its the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ anime style of characters, how they are written and how their gogo gadgets are getting further and further away from being belivable. And to be honest the new ops arent that interesting. People arent playing them.

I mean hero design or sexy designs are and always been even in comics and western games/movies its just there is this wierd trend that people call something different anime or even if its more of scifi design . :D

Every new character is now special in some way like its some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ anime school girl drama series. It isnt just their bios that is different from the older ops.
They have more distinctive looks.
Their gadget is now somehow related to their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ anime bios. How are the pickrates going with new ops?
I remember when ubi said they had listened to their fans in hopes of getting a ladder operator for attack. What did we get? Amaru. Grappling hook.
What game is this? Just Cause?
At what level of ridiculousness and absurdness do we realize that r6s more closer to anime than animated movies.
