You didn't nerf mozzie, you made him less fun.
Mozzie has been one of my favorite operators of all time, alot of people agree with me i'd bet. The super-shorty sidearm wasn't overpowered, it wasn't super amazing mega good, it is actually worse in every way to the ITA-12S. it was just a fun gun. Everyone i've seen on this change has been negetive, or neutral about it, so why didn't you listen to feedback, like you said you do? I say you should've removed the C4 on mozzie, it doesn't really fit his playstyle compared to the barbed wire, and it'd make him more balanced, or nerf his primaries.

c4 is not for destroying walls tho

And it was fun, not super overpowered making him super amazing or anything, just a fun shotgun to have on the side compared to your roni or the commando.
it made him a really strong roamer tho and on top of that this

He just had everything, one of the best guns on defense, utility to open up walls, c4, intel denial AND intel gathering. They only nerfed his utility so he doesnt effectively bring every single thing to the team. If you remove his c4 and nerf his gun why would i pick him instead of mute?
1. He was a good roamer, but in the end, a utility shotgun made him fun, and versitile for different players, i never thought it was too OP in utility wise and was just fun to use.

well it depends on the rank youre playin
dont get me wrong, i bought mozzie just because i wanted an op with a good main gun and a shotgun sidearm so i feel ya that hes less fun now, but on higher ranks when people start using actual strategies he was really really strong in part because of that shotgun
another thing is that some people used the shotgun to hide his pests even better so this nerf is in part also a direct nerf to his pests

Honestly, they should just nerf the pests. Half the radius in which you can get a drone and double the warning sign radius

that would just make them useless tbh

I mean, i'm not a worker at ubi but I think they could come up with some nerf to his pests, maybe not half the radius but like, .75 of the radius, and a bit more on the warning sign.

because he gives you intel, and destroys enemy intel, a secondary shotgun also makes it more likely to pick him.

You're missing the point. Yes, it was fun to be able to do all those things. But was it balanced? Not at all. He did way too much to the team and was essentially a one man army, it made sense to nerf his utility. I think you're looking at Mozzie from a casual/fun perspective, which is fine and I completely get that, but if you look at him from a competitive perspective, he was a lot more powerful compared to other operators for reasons already stated, so the nerf is justified.

Well tbh Mute also got a big "warning radius", yet he's good enough to deny intel if no one uses utility, IQ, or vertical destruction to get rid of his jammers. Both him & Mozzie in a coordinated stack makes taking out roamers in certain zones of a map very annoying.

An example would be the SSG Mozzie, Mute, Vigil strat in Clubhouse.

it wasnt just about the warning radius, but also the radius in which u can get the drones which is exactly the space of a "normal sized" door right now
also mute still has utility even if his radius is bigger since no matter how far away you will get a warning drones still wont get in, on top of that mute is not only for drone denial, mozzie is

He was objectively one of the best defenders and his ability to free roam and create sightlines almost no other roamer could was a huge reason why

Just because you couldn't take advantage of it properly doesn't mean it wasn't a huge strength for an already bloated operator

Ubi didn't even nerf this. Mute can still open the hatches, and mozzie is still annoying as ever to clear. For them trying to balance for proleague, they're doing it pretty stupidly. Why not remove a pest??

I get their reasoning but yeah, they did just make him less fun.

I agree, three moving, small, quick cameras? that's alot if you ask me.

I guess Ubi is trying to reduce Defender utility?
