Copy valorant and add the same rank system based on performance :)

In a primarily objective based game, what statistics do you think would be a good means of indicating performance?

the worst part about mmr is that the more games you play the harder it is to rank upo\

hello there! yousef. I think you got it wrong. Siege doesnt work like cs or valorant. its unique in its way. u have roles & playstyle in siege & every player has their own way of playing. Im a support player for my team. my job isnt to frag out enemy team, my job is to open walls, drone out my enemy positions, callouts, plant defuser, keeping my teammates alive etc. Siege is not a frag heavy game. Its more tactical.

Lets say we now have a rank match making which rewards based on ur performence, guess what as a support player im never gonna get the same amount of elo as my entry fragger. so they will rank up fast as they have more kills than me. the game gonna see, he has more kill, so he is better, but the support player(s) who does most of the work gonna get left out, that way its kinda unfair.

What i would really love to see, the MMR rollback thing, like when u have a hacker in ur team & next day u see -60 elo for that its kinda frustrating & when its the other way around u dont really get as much elo as u would lose. If theres a hacker in my team & as we dont know, either the match should end or the opponents wont gain any elo... just like cancel the match.

I mean you already get score points for supporting etc, why could not they make system that revolves around that? Current system results in unbalanced matches and people being in rank they should not be in.

sooo, look at points than? Well that would just turn into people point hoarding any way they can to up their score and MMR gain in that case. It used to be a problem that people would spot spam on drones cause it gave 5 points to the person per scanned defender. If people would waste drones just to get 5-10 points most of the time, what do you think would happen when your rank is on the line and is directly tied to you spamming?

One way I could think of is that it takes more of an Apex approach with people paying an entry fee to queue up for ranked based on their rank. Based on the characters they play they could get points back for their actions (thermite opening up walls on site, twitch taking out gadgets, etc). Would this be perfect? No, as stated earlier people would do crazy ♥♥♥♥ for points and a lot are willing to go even further for their rank AND it would require the server to remember the individual points and operators for every round per match in order to calculate MMR gains/losses, but I think it would reflect better on someone's performance and contribution to their team.

Im sure they could make it partly foolproof, like getting points only once you spot enemy and then if he gets killed after spotting etc.
But i belive certainly something should be changed because one team curb stomping other team when they are same rank average should be rarity which it isnt.

I agree on that curbstomping at any rank in ranked shouldn't happen unless one team derps the everliving hell out of their mind, but making it fool proof is going to be difficult. It is an universal truth in coding that no matter how idiot proof you make something, the universe would simply take offense and create an even bigger idiot :steamhappy:
