how to stop fps from going over 144fps
My fps is going beyond 180fps in 1440p 144hz i tried all vsync settings with gsync enabled any ideas?.

I get those frames on my main PC on those settngs easy.

How can you have a computer that good and not even know how to work it... I mean i know nothing about computers but putting a frame limit is easy. Noob

You can do vsync+gsync and use a framelimiter 2-3 frames below the refresh rate of your monitor to assure vsync doesn't activate...

Not sure why you want to limit your frames though, having as many frames as possible makes sure that the frame you see is as new as possible, this can however increase variance between frames though. But considering that you are able to hit around 180fps with ultra settings and the fact that you have 144hz monitor everything should be smooth and variance between frames rather low...

google won't help cause i tried everything vysnce suppose to limit my refresh rate to 144fps the probllem it goes beyond that like its not working , this is my issue. gsync is on too every other game is fine ecept this one.
