Why is there no story mode?
Not that it should have, but the question is why?
The cinematics are beautiful, well the ones that the give you and the plot that was given from Article 5, was really good.

"Reiniziating Rainbow Six" And then that's the only mission the "rainbow six" is actually used, they are only in Article 5 and the other operators aren't really interesting since they have no real backstory to them other than that "edgy" cinematic, some of em were good though.

My reason why:
- Story mode is not necessary for a long survivable player base, multiplayer is the reason players are active, the better it is,the more players and activity, Therefore they didn't bother doing this because it would be a "waste" of money to product a story that'll not benefit them in the long run. Maybe they even want to take a break from developing games and focus on one instead.
- They didn't think their game would be successful at all, so no story mode.
And or
-Ubisoft just didn't care.

But yet again, all you need to do in game creation is always be in the + not in the -

+ THEY CAN'T PROFIT FROM STORY MODE BEING ADDED (Unless it's just a separate thing sold as DLC, which would be nice.) 10 Euro or something because i got this game for 20 euro, very fair i'd say.

Any other thoughts?
I know this is already asked multiple times, but discussions are made for discussing, even if it's an already done topic.

Waste of money. Most people play the single player once and then go to multi. Its a waste of money that they could have spent on improving the multiplayer.

Well, they always DID have some sort of "story". Look at Lockdown and the one before it (can't remember the name for the love of it).

Buy "The Stanley Parable" if you want a story mode.

Since siege not but the parts before had - I would rather call it a campaign they never told a big story but what came out around 1998-2008 were great games which were focusing on the single player campaign like the ghost recon series. Rogue Spear, Raven Shield, Athena Sword..

10 € for a campaign would be nice - I´d definetely buy that but that will never happen. If they would add one it would be more than 10 € you have to pay for sure.

And don´t forget this came out as a "full price title" for 60 € in december last year. So if you say 30 € for the game+sp campaign it should already have had one :'D

It´s still a great game but nice to see some other people missing a sp - just my thoughts :)

Right now I am more looking forward to the Red Crow dlc^^
