Rook's armor plates worth it?
I hear these plates have a 20% damage reduction. Then again, I have not played this game as long as some folks here, so in your experiences are these armor plates beneficial?

I recommend watching Rogue-9's video titled Doc vs. Rook, it goes into depth about what exactly his plates actually do.

most of the time you only get downed wearing these Doc+Rook can be a really good combination well still noone is playing them for the gadgets but for the mp5

As long as you don't get headshotted you will always down with rook plates.

But yeah watch the Rogue-9's video explaining them.

i dont know, but in scientifc terms a plate save a bullet or even 10 bullets....

Rook Plates:
1 Armor becomes 2
2 Armor becomes 3
3 Armor becomes 4

Basically 20% Damage Reduction and the Ability to always go DBNO unless you got Headshot. You do not get Movement Reduction and Bleedout Timer increases.

I don't really think his armors make a life and death difference but his armor is quite helpful in some situations. Though I think people choose him usually for roaming or making holes or just passive supporting since he has impacts and a really simple gadget.

doc is more beneficial to have because his stims can revive from distance at 75 hp, and give 3 40 hp boosts. Though he does miss impacts, which kind of sucks
