What is the point of the AR33 rifle?

Okay, the recoil impulse is much better to me than the L85A2, and the HK rifle aesthetic is fitting for a guy like Thatcher, but that's about it. The mag size is smaller, there's a higher rate of fire that makes burning through your mag all the more easier, and the damage output is slightly smaller than the L85.

It's all about preference and gives players more options about what they like to run. I happen to really love the weapon!

Better performance at close range with faster TTK. Also has the angle grip option for faster ADS times.

I will admit that I am trying it out right now. So perhaps I will warm up to it at some point. As noted before, I do like the recoil impulse.

I use AR33 just for the angled grip since it's recoil isn't bad in the first place.
AR33 also looks better than the L85A2 imo

Yes!! The HK33 looks much better than that hideous amalgamation of parts that is the L85.

I only use the AR33 as Thatcher since it's got the double-shot mechanic and I think it's also the only gun in entire game that has it, isn't it? =D
So yep, all in all it's a thing about preference as the others said already ^_^
