Also, how do you plan to enforce a mic requirement? You know how easy it is to add a fake recording device to your control panel? What, you want there to be some magical way to tell it's a real mic? Like checks for sound...? You know you can do that too also in control panel, just have a sound effect play in it every once in awhile and suddenly it's "picking up" sound... right? This can't be enforced, might as well leave it alone.
If you don't like quiet people that just wants to play the game, group up.
If people like me bother you, group up. I play ranked just to play in an area that I'm not dominating. I feel that because matchmaking is so bad in casual, I'm doing too well and developing bad habits from it. The only time I get crushed in casual is when people are grouped up, no doubt using team work like you mentioned through communication. Until they implement some form of KDR tracking system for casual and until they have some form of matchmaking where I am paired with people my level, I am just gonna use ranked for that. If they have not what I want in casual, I am going to go get it in ranked. Sorry, blame Ubisoft for not providing something for people like me. I'm not happy about it either, I don't even want to play ranked because it's so toxic and the matchmaking has the opposite issue where I am constantly getting crushed, but I also don't want to be yelled at by flustered kids because I'm "try harding" and "should go back to ranked" and at least I'm with better players where I'll learn the game better and not develop bad habits that only works with newer players I'm practically bullying.
If you want me gone, convince Ubisoft to fix this problem or group up with people you're compatible with and can communicate with to your standards. I'm gonna keep doing my thing and just ♥♥♥♥ around with some friends, play for kills and wins, mostly kills since I believe those will be what helps me get better so I can one day actively push for objectives, and laugh at how sweaty nerds get over a video game.
I dont suggest listening to music while you play if youre playing ranked, that would be one of those bad habits youre talking about. The game is maybe only half about kills, everythings about information and teamwork. Shooting good just makes it all go smoother. Actually conversating with people in the game as well also helps you get better, since you learn more callouts, tactics, etc then you normally would being silent.
In other words, dont expect to get far by just fragging, youre gonna at least need a 3 stack to provide you with adequate support.
^ thats your answer
Ideally the point is /to/ make friends with some more people in the siege community, by attracting more vocal people instead of just the default bots you usually get that dont talk or communicate period. (yet theyll play Cav/Valk/Clash etc. All operators that work wayy better with coordination)
Like... how about you finding people to play ranked with instead of relying on randoms?
I think people need to realize that THEY are the issue, complaining about stuff, which should not exist, if they actually did some kind of work themselves... No one joins Voice? Join a group or even create one yourself to play ranked with.
Really sucky considering the few people who do voice in ranked are usually quite nice and constructive, besides the few people here and there who are just toxic because they think theyre being a real "funny haha" man for doing so.
