Try verifying game file integrity and see if any file was damaged because of the packs.

mess around in the setting the game might still be in the ultra textures mode and that indeed destroys FPS without a godly pc build

even on the lowest settings its the same fps, nothing ive tried has worked so far, i recently unistalled game and reinstalled it fixed nothing, i know it has something to do with uhd texture dlc but i deleted it through steam and nothing has changed where do i look at in game files to delete it

well it depends.if this happened when the new upgrade came out then it is probably glitch which i had to deal with too.if this didnt happen when the red crow upgrade came out scan your PC for viruses

Maybe a bugged GPU Driver like always, try roll back a few patches
try to update your graphics driver to the latest installment. www.geforce.com/drivers and select the correct driver for your setup, then choose custom install aswell as Clean install, then finally restart your PC after installation is complete. Make sure to close msi afterburner while installing any graphics driver . If this does not work try to disable Hyperthreading on your CPU. Hope this helps:steamhappy:

Run the game in windowed fullscreen, sounds like it's been framelocked to 30.

Make sure your monitor is running at its maximum refresh rate as well, it might have somehow been set to 30Hz

The diffrence between lowest textures and ultra textures is 2 fps
In the nvidia control panel, under "Manage 3D settings" and "program settings", find "rainbowsix.exe" and change the setting from integrated graphics to high performance. If you can't find it, uncheck the box that says "only show programs found on this computer" or wtv.

P.P.S look under the "T" section for Tom clancy, instead of "R" for rainbowsix
