Why do people play at the lowest settings in games like this?

Well, I know why. To get the best frame rate. If that's the case, why not buy a better GPU? I could never stand playing R6 with the lowest graphical settings.

Some people with medium end cards do the same though. You don't need a high end GPU to run this game at 1080p high settings 100+ FPS.

wtf, you can still have a really good setup and play low settings? FPS are all the matter in this game

Other than not having the best specs to play at highest settings some prefer gameplay focus taking advantage over the FPS than graphical settings. Kind of like how pixelated 2d games are still played today even though there are big open world sandboxes. Unless you want to play at full on potato settings just for shenanigans.

Having the graphics turned down all the way must effect your ability to see things right? There's got to be a certain point where the graphics are turned down so low it starts to affect gameplay.

Because my PC ain't that great, I don't have the money or patience to upgrade it right now and the game runs fine in low. The FPS is consistent and it's not even that ugly or unplayable on low.

Only if you lower down your resolution. Aside that, I'd argue that it makes things EASIER to see. Think for a moment, when everything on your screen looks "ugly" and simple, the most detailed thing to appear are gonna be the player models.

I feel your pain, but there's people doing this with mid range GPUs which i don't understand.

To be fair, I can run the game on medium to high settings, I just rather the FPS boost and focus on gameplay. It just runs better and to me, it "looks better" because like I said, my vision isn't raped with the unnecessary ammount of details.

some people think eye candy stuff can affect your in game perfomance plus more framerate (beta cuck stuff) i mean if you aint making any money playing games shut your mouth and enjoy the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.

If people play with the lowest settings and mostly the lowest resolution it's because the operators looks bigger. It's more easier to aim the head or kill someone
