Frame Rate capped at 60FPS

So my R6 is capped at 60 FPS, on the menu screen it's perfectly fine, 144 fps but as soon as I get into a game it caps at 60. I've literally tried everything, I've restarted the game, I've restarted my PC, I've tried changing the GameSetting.ini, I've changed my In-game v-sync and nvidia v-sync, I've tried updated my drivers, I've tried repairing the game files, I've tried disabling steam overlay, I've tried disabling fullscreen optimisation, I've literally done everything and ti still doesn't work. The only thing I haven't done that I can think of is re-installing but I doubt that'll help. Fix your game Ubi.

EDIT: It was working fine 2 hours ago and it suddenly changed to 60 fps, I have been playing on 144FPS Borderless window for about 2 years now and now this problem pops up.

bro this happened to me twice sooo F**king annoying. i think i had to reinstall the Nividia drivers. one day after a Nividia driver update it capped me at 60 fps :SadSkyhammer:

So I should reinstall my nvidia drivers?

Close the game, open C:\Users\<username>\Documents\My Games\Rainbow Six - Siege\<bunch of random char. folder>\gamesettings.ini

Set these values manually:

Monitor=0 (Monitor=0 if it's "monitor 1" or Monitor=1 if it's "monitor 2" according to windows display adapters)
RefreshRate=144.000000 (Mine is 144hz, set your native refresh rate if it's different than mine.)
WindowMode=0
AspectRatio=0

Save file and launch the game.

I had the same issue and this is what I did to fix it.

If it doesnt fix, delete gamesettings.ini, launch the game, let it auto-detect the configuration. Close the game and repeat the above.

If all above doesn't work, while in-game (60FPS), try alt-tabbing twice.

Also, what's your Windows powerplan? It should be on High Performance. And manually set Max Performance powerplan for Rainbow 6 in Nvidia control panel.
