Advanced gadget placement issue

I play a different control scheme than most people, but that's fine because that's why I switched to PC, to gain the freedom of setting keybinds to whatever I want. I use left click to move, right click to shoot, g for gadget, e for interact, and space to aim down sight. In the controls options, it states you need to hold interact after pressing gadget button to deploy gadget for the advanced gadget placement option. This is false as when pressing the gadget button, it gives me a prompt to hold left click mouse button, not the interact button which is bound to E, and my left click is bound to move forward. When deploying the gadget, holding E does not deploy it but holding left click does. When holding left click after toggling the gadget, my character moves a few feet then places the gadget, making this impossible in a gameplay scenario as I cannot place a gadget exactly where I want to place it. It seems as if the "interact" is hard coded to left click, which the default is shoot anyways, which makes no sense at all.

Don't be ignorant. The fundamental issue in the game is still present. There are many people who use left click for something else other than move.

Congrats @OP you just find one of the oldest bug in the game, at least on the PC platform.
I will see if I can replicate it, but you should also post this on the community support sub forum here on steam, so Ubi mods reach to the dev team in their report.

Well I’m trying to make a real report here, and you’re trying to make it seem like it doesn’t matter just because of my control scheme. Your comment has no purpose in helping me to fix this bug.
